Minoo Mumtaz (Sister of Mehmood), famous actor and dancer passes away

Minoo Mumtaz, a veteran actress in the Hindi film industry, died just moments ago in Canada. She was 79 years old.

Minoo Mumtaz made her film debut in 1955 with Ghar Ghar Mein Diwali. She played the role of a village dancer in this film. She rose to prominence as a result of the film Sakhi Hatim. She played the role of a mermaid in this movie.
