Krunal Pandya’s cricketing career
Many people ask Is Krunal Pandya retired? But let me tell you he is very much in cricket and has not retired from any form of cricket. He has only stepped down from the captaincy of his home team Baroda.
Kunal started his cricketing career with the Baroda team in 2012 and then played for Baroda in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in a home match against Bengal. And then played in List A against Gujarat during the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2016. His performance at the beginning of List A was not so special, so he did not come into the limelight.
But after some time, they performed well, due to which in the 2016 IPL, Mumbai Indians bought Krunal for two crores rupees and played their first IPL match against Gujarat at Wankhede Stadium. In 2016, he played the Ranji Trophy for Baroda, and only a few months after Ranji played the Vijay Hazare Trophy in Baroda for Baroda, in which Krunal scored 367 runs in eight matches. In bowling, he took 11 wickets in eight matches. And then, in October 2018, he was named in India A Squad for the Deodhar Trophy.
Krunal Pandya started his international career on 4 November 2018. He made his T20 debut against the West Indies, scoring 21 runs off 9 balls, and most recently, on 23 March 2021, he made his ODI debut against England. And in this match, Krunal scored 58 runs off 31 balls and was not out till the end.

Family and Wife of Krunal Pandya
Krunal’s father’s name is Himanshu Pandya, who was a businessman and died on 16th January 2021 due to cardiac arrest at the age of 71. Hardik was at home when his father breathed his last while his older brother was playing for the Baroda team in the Syed Mushtaq Trophy.
