She majored in broadcast journalism before joining WWE and worked as an anchor on numerous TV shows. She has also walked the runways for Venus Swimwear and Hawaiian Tropic.

Blank was offered a contract and invited to Ohio Valley Wrestling while modeling in 2006. At the age of 19, she became the WWE’s youngest Diva by making her debut for ECW.
Her name was changed from Barbara Blank to Kelly but later Vince McMahan renamed her as Kelly Kelly.
She began her career as a ring announcer and referee. She later began her professional wrestling career. She fought in a number of matches before switching to the Raw brand in 2008. She lost a match where she was part of a five diva team in Backlash pay-per-view.
Kelly challenged the WWE Divas Championship on three occasions the next year but was unsuccessful each time.
