Chantel O’Brian, a Nassau native and New Providence representative, was crowned Miss Universe Bahamas after the event’s final, beating out three other finalists. As a result, she will represent her country at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel, in December 2021. Andrea Meza of Mexico, Miss Universe 2020, will pass the crown to her successor on December 16th.
Chantel O’Brian, 27, was crowned Miss Universe Bahamas 2021 with a dazzling ebony blackness, a perfect figure, and an angelic smile. She is a Nassau native and works as a ceremonial coach.
Chantel has carved out a leadership position after a strong showing throughout the competition. On social media, O’Brian announced the conclusion of her reign as Miss New Providence and the beginning of a new chapter.
“And just like that, the day has arrived!” It was an honor to represent Miss New Providence in this year’s Miss Bahamas Queen pageant! I couldn’t make this trip without your help. “From my mother to my close friends and relatives, I am fortunate to have such a strong support system,” she said.
Chantel O’Brian is not new to pageant
Chantel O’Brian is no stranger to beauty pageants. She was the first runner-up in Miss Universe Bahamas 2013. She worked as a sales associate for Diamonds International, Bahamas, from December 2013 to December 2016.

She was crowned Miss World Ocean Cay Bahamas in 2014. She placed second in the Miss World Bahamas 2014 pageant on August 3, 2014. On September 14, 2015, she was crowned Miss World Bahamas 2015.
On December 19, 2015, Chantel O’Brian represented the Bahamas at Miss World 2015, where she competed against 149 other contestants in Sanya, China. In February 2018, she established “P.S. O’Brian Consulting.” The company, which is based in Nassau, provides a variety of services, including social affairs coaching, ceremonial coaching, pageant training, and social media management.
