Becky G Life

Rebbeca Marie Gómez, better known as Becky G, has established herself as one of the most prominent reggaetón and other urban genre vocalists in the music industry. Her name is already well-known in various countries throughout the world, primarily in Latin America, owing to successful songs such as “Mayores” and “Sin pijama.” She is only 24 years old.

On March 2, 1997, in Inglewood, California, the singer, songwriter, actor, model, and dancer was born (United States). Her meteoric rise began in 2011 when she was urged to post multiple videos on YouTube of herself playing the most popular songs at the moment. Becky G began to enchant with her wonderful voice and amass thousands of admirers from that point forward.

How did she spend her childhood?

Becky G had a tough childhood as a result of her parents’ financial difficulties. When she was just nine years old, her parents were forced to sell her home and relocate her to her grandparents’ garage in Jalisco, Mexico.

She felt obligated to help her parents from that point forward, therefore she went to work making ads to contribute money to her family’s finances. As a result, she was bullied at school, and it was agreed that she should be educated at home to avoid abuse. She herself claims that she was assaulted in her school’s lavatory on one occasion, but she persevered in her profession until she gained success.

How did she begin her artistic career?

In 2008, she appeared in the short film “El Tux,” as well as the Discovery Channel video “La Estación de la Calle Olvera,” as Claudia Gómez. After that, she was a member of the girls’ group G.L.A.M., and a year later, she was a member of B.C.G. with Guel and Cristal.

In 2009, she filmed a music video with G.L.A.M. for a song called “JellyBean” before departing the group. During this time, she began recording herself singing songs, so she decided to start a YouTube account to post versions of popular songs and eventually started writing her own lyrics.
