She was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 9, 1991. Her parents, Angela and Bob Kaufman named her Alexis Kaufman at the time of her birth. Her interest in sports began when she was five years old, when she began participating in softball, track, kickboxing, and gymnastics. She later became involved in competitive bodybuilding, which led to her participation in the Arnold Classic.
Bodybuilding also saved her from an eating disorder she developed when she was 15 years old. If she hadn’t outgrown the disorder, it could have been harmful to his health and her life.
