Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli praised MS Dhoni as the “best finisher” after the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain helped his team reach the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 final on Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium (October 10). In Qualifier 1, CSK upset Delhi Capitals by four wickets, with Dhoni returning to form with a much-needed 18 from six balls.
The India captain said Dhoni’s performance against the Delhi Capitals made him ‘leap out of his seat with joy.

Dhoni also accept it was an important innings
Mahendra Singh Dhoni walks the talk when he describes having a clean mind while finishing for Chennai Super Kings, which he did with aplomb against Rishabh Pant led Delhi Capitals on Sunday to propel his team to a record eighth IPL final.

Dhoni believes the experience they received after being knocked out of the playoffs last season benefited them this season, as seen by Ruturaj collecting 600-plus runs with one match remaining. “We didn’t make the playoffs for the first time last season.” But we only had 3-4 games remaining last season, and a lot of our batters took advantage of that. That is why we have made such a tremendous comeback this season.” DC captain Rishabh Pant was unhappy with the result but pledged to make a great recovery in the upcoming game.
