Shubhman is currently not the part of Indian WT20 squad but was part of the KKR team which finished as runners-up in the IPL 2021.
There were rumors in the past that Shubhman Gill was dating Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar however there was no confirmation from either end.
The 22-year cricketer plays domestic cricket for Punjab and was seen as the next test opener for India in the test but got injured before the England series which made way for KL Rahul.

Shubman Gill was born in the Punjab town of Fazilka. His family had farmland in the area. His father, Lakhwinder Singh, an agriculturist, aspired to be a cricketer but was unable to realize his ambition. Instead, he resolved to turn Gill into a decent cricketer.
Shubman Gill, a right-handed top-order batsman from Punjab, is renowned for his love for huge runs and was therefore picked into India’s Under-19 squad as vice-captain for the 2018 World Cup. Prior to that, he made his first-class debut for Punjab in the Ranji Trophy in late 2017 with a half-century and an attacking 129.
Gill was a mainstay in Rahul Dravid’s preparations for the Under-19 World Cup, playing at an age-group level above his. In 2014, he hit 351 in Punjab’s Inter-District Under-16 competition, and he and Nirmal Singh had a record opening stand of 587. In the Vijay Merchant Trophy, he scored an undefeated double-century on his Under-16 state debut for Punjab. Later that year, he shared the stage with his hero Virat Kohli while accepting the BCCI award for best junior cricketer, which he won for two years in a row: 2013-14 and 2014-15.
When he was selected for the national Under-19 team, he scored 351 runs in four innings and was awarded Man of the Series during the Youth ODI series against England at home. He led the reciprocal tour, his first in English conditions, with 278 runs in four innings. Both series were won by India. On the day of the 2018 IPL auction, while still in New Zealand for the World Cup, Gill was selected by Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 1.8 crore (USD 281,000 approx).
