Shanna was born on March 28, 1975, in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. Shanna Lynn Moakler was born to parents John W. Moakler III (her father) and Gail Moakler (his mother hers).
She is an American of German, Portuguese, and Irish ancestry.
Shanna, who had always wanted to be a model, began modeling at the age of 15 and took her first step at Miss Teen USA in 1992.
