Ruth Carlos will represent Angola in the Miss World 2021 competition to take place in Puerto Rico. Ruth is 5 feet 11 inches tall and can speak Spanish and English.
Ruth Carlos, the Huambo representative in the national beauty pageant, is the new Miss World Angola. She takes over for Brezana Da Costa, the previous winner in 2019 because the competition could not be held in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Marcia Quipaca was named first runner-up, and Jandira Silva was named second runner-up.
Ruth Carlos, a human resources student who outperformed the other 17 contestants in a national beauty pageant, will now represent Angola in the 70th Miss World final in Puerto Rico. Toni-Ann Singh, the reigning Miss World, will crown her successor, José Miguel Agrelot, on December 16 at the Coliseo in Puerto Rico. Ruth, 24, is no stranger to pageants; she represented Lunda Sul at Miss World Angola 2018, where she finished unranked.
