Natalie Katherine Neidhart-Wilson, or Natalya Neidhart, like Trish Stratus, is a Canadian-American professional wrestler and journalist. She is currently signed to WWE, where she works under the ring name Natalya on both NXT and SmackDown. She was a one-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Tamina.
Natalya Neidhart is also a two-time women’s world champion, having won both the Divas Championship and the SmackDown Women’s Championship. She is a third-generation wrestler and the daughter of Hart Foundation member and Hall of Famer Jim Neidhart.
Neidhart is the world’s first third-generation female wrestler, descended from the Hart wrestling family through her mother. Her uncles, Ross and Bruce Hart, trained her in the Hart family Dungeon. She worked for the Matrats organisation from 2000 to 2001 before making her Stampede Wrestling debut in 2003. She competed in England and Japan in 2004 and 2005. In 2005, she won the inaugural Stampede Women’s Pacific Championship and the SuperGirls Championship the following year.
In 2007, Natalya Neidhart signed with WWE and spent time in the developmental territories of Deep South Wrestling, Ohio Valley Wrestling, and Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). While at FCW, she oversaw her cousin, Harry Smith, and her husband, T.J. Wilson. She made her main roster debut in 2008, teaming up with Victoria. Neidhart won the Divas Championship in 2010. After defeating Naomi at SummerSlam, she won the SmackDown Women’s Championship in 2017. Natalya Neidhart Childhood
Neidhart is the third generation wrestler, the daughter of wrestler Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, and Elizabeth “Ellie” Hart, the daughter of Stu Hart.
Her older sister, Jennifer, is a gourmet chef and caterer; her younger sister, Kristen (nicknamed “Muffy”), is a model.
Her maternal great-grandmother is of Greek origin. Neidhart credits her grandfather, Stu, and uncle, Bret, with her inspirations in and out of the ring.
She is a cousin to professional wrestlers Harry Smith, Teddy, Matt, and Mike Hart, all of the Hart wrestling family members. She is close to Smith, and the two lived together as children briefly while their fathers wrestled as a team.
Neidhart graduated from Bishop Carroll High School in 2000 after attending Vincent Massey Junior High School. Neidhart has studied Jiu-Jitsu and amateur wrestling, dance, and gymnastics. When she was eighteen, she worked as a saleswoman for Kirby Vacuum.
Neidhart was the first woman to get formal professional wrestling instruction from her uncles Ross and Bruce Hart in the Hart family “Dungeon.”

Natalya Neidhart Career
Natalya began performing for the Hart Family’s promotion, Stampede Wrestling, in 2003. She began a long-running quarrel with Belle Lovitz. She also competed in England, Canada, and Japan. In 2005, she was the first Stampede Women’s Pacific Champion.
Natalya won the SuperGirls Championship from Lisa Moretti in 2006 Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling in a show conducted by NWA: Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling in Newark, California. She then competed in the Great Canadian Wrestling Tournament, finishing second.
Natalya’s last Stampede Wrestling match came in January of 2007. Following that, she signed with World Wrestling Entertainment WWE. Natalya was previously allocated to developing territory before being relocated to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and then to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) (OVW). She won a battle royal at OVW.
