Naomie Harris admits to being abused: “No one kept quiet!” She tells in an interview.
Naomie Harris, who rose to prominence in the ‘James Bond’ films with roles in ‘Skyfall,’ ‘Spectre,’ and ‘No Time To Die,’ revealed that a famous actor harassed her in public during a movie audition years ago.
Naomie Harris, 45, a British actress, spoke out for the first time about her ordeal years ago. During a movie audition, Harris claimed she was harassed by a well-known actress.
The world-famous actress told the Mail On Sunday newspaper what happened that day, saying, “A very famous actor put his hand on my skirt and harassed me.”
Naomie Harris, best known for her roles in ‘Skyfall,’ ‘Spectre,’ and ‘James Bond’ films such as ‘No Time To Die,’ went on to say, “The surprising thing here is that the casting director and the director were both on the set.” But no one said anything because the person who abused me was a celebrity.”
Naomie Harris, 45, said of the harassment incidents brought to light by the ‘#metoo’ movement, “So I felt lucky.” The actor did not reveal the name of the famous actor who harassed him or the film in which the incident occurred.
Harris also stated that following the emergence of the ‘#metoo’ movement, another similar incident occurred on the set of another film, but this time the harasser was fired right away.
The #MeToo movement gained traction in 2018 as women in the entertainment industry, including Rose McGowan and Ashley Judd, shared their experiences with sexual assault and harassment.
