Kenya Moore’s childhood and education
Kenya Moore was born in the country of Kenya. Summer Moore married teenagers Ronald Grant and Patricia Moore in Detroit, Michigan on January 24, 1971. Moore is an Aquarian. She is American in terms of nationality and ethnicity, and she is African American.
Patricia Moore was only 16 years old when Moore was born, and she was abandoned by her mother three days later. Moore was raised later in life by her paternal grandmother, Doris Grant, and her aunt. Moore has revealed that her mother did not name her at all. In his own words
‘Since she was born, my mother made the decision at the age of 16 to act as if she never had me. She’s never said anything to me. Even when she is in the same room as other people and family, she acts as if I don’t exist. ‘She acts as if I’m not there.’
She graduated from Cass Technical High School in 1989 and went on to study psychology and communication at Wayne State University.

Kenya Moore began her modelling career. Moore began modelling when she was 14 years old. In January 1992, she was named the cover girl of Ebony Man Magazine, published by the Johnson Publishing Company in Chicago. She also walked the runway for the Ebony Cosmetic Line Fashion Show.

Moore announced her pregnancy on April 9th, 2018, during the Real Housewives of Atlanta: Reunion Part 1 on Sunday night. She told Andy Cohen about her pregnancy, saying, ‘We will definitely welcome a boy or a girl later this year.’
