Today marks the 40th birthday of Kajal Aggarwal. Kajal was born on June 19, 1985, in Mumbai and has appeared in films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. Kajal debuted in Bollywood with Rohit Shetty’s Singham. Her work in this film was also praised, but she was unable to spread her flame in Bollywood as she did in the South.

Her father, Suman Aggarwal, is a textile entrepreneur, and her mother, Vinay Aggarwal, is a confectioner and Kajal’s business manager. Nisha Aggarwal, Kajal’s younger sister, is a Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam actress who is now married to Karan Valecha (Managing director of Golds gyms, Asia).
She attended St. Anne’s High School in Fort and Jai Hind College for her pre-university education. She graduated from Kishinchand Chellaram College with a degree in mass media and a specialization in marketing and advertising. She has had MBA ambitions since she was a child and hopes to obtain a post-graduate degree shortly.
Career
Kajal Aggarwal, who was born into a Punjabi family, began modelling in college. Following that, he began his film career in 2004 with the Bollywood film ‘Kyun Ho Gaya Na.’ Although her role in this film was minor, she became Aishwarya’s friend. Kajal then moved to the South Industry, making her Telugu film debut in 2007 with ‘Lakshmi Kalyanam.’
She went on to star in a number of films and became a well-known South actress. His true identity was revealed in the 2009 Telugu film Magadheera.
Controversies
Aside from her films, Kajal has been in the news several times for controversies. Pictures of her topless photoshoot for a magazine went viral on social media in 2014. It was stated on Kajal’s behalf that she had not participated in any such photoshoot. Her photos had been tampered with.
Following that, Kajal Aggarwal starred in the 2016 film ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’ alongside Randeep Hooda. This film featured a kissing scene between the two. According to legend, Kajal had no idea about this scene. Randeep kissed her unexpectedly in the scene, which enraged her and caused a lot of drama. The filmmakers had to appease Kajal’s rage.

Kajal Aggarwal made a few disparaging remarks about Ileana D’Cruz before retaliating and said that she does not consider Kajal to be a competitor. Ileana’s remark enraged Kajal, who made personal remarks about Ileana and her boyfriend.
Kajal wore a costume for the 61st Film Fare Awards that she had never worn before. Many people were taken aback when they saw her costume, which consisted of a pink gown with the front open and garnered a lot of attention.
At a time when the MeToo movement was gaining traction in India, Chota K Naidu, the cinematographer of the Telugu film ‘Kavacham,’ courted controversy by kissing Kajal Agarwal on stage during the film’s teaser release event in Daspalla, Hyderabad.
The nasty gesture surprised everyone in attendance when Naidu seized the “Magadheera” actress and kissed her. However, following the incident, Naidu blamed his fellow film composer Thaman for the incident, claiming that “we can’t kiss her (Kajal)”.
According to the allegation, Kajal was embarrassed and uncomfortable by the act but chose not to speak up.

In terms of Kajal Aggarwal’s personal life, she will marry industrialist Gautam Kichlu on October 30, 2020. At the same time, she welcomed her son into the world on April 19, this year. Kajal frequently shares photos with her son and husband Gautam. Kajal Aggarwal appeared in the film ‘Hey Sinamika,’ which was released in March of this year.
