She was a member of the collaborative group The Hype House and co-hosted a podcast called Charli and Dixie: 2 Chix with her sister Dixie. She is currently one of the platform’s most-followed users. The early years

D’Amelio, the daughter of Marc and Heidi D’Amelio, was born in Norwalk, Connecticut. Her father was a Republican candidate for the United States Senate, and her mother is a well-known photographer and former model. Dixie, her only sister, is also a tiktoker. She began taking dance lessons at the age of three and was competing by the age of five.

Instagram’s Beginnings

She took her first steps in social networks on Instagram, a platform she joined when she was twelve years old, in 2016. She had always been interested in photography, so it didn’t take long for her to become well-known. She began by posting photos of herself with her friends, her lifestyle, and her hobbies, and as she grew older, she began to advertise brands. TikTok and Charli D’Amelio’s ascension to fame

In July 2019, she rose to fame on TikTok. Charli debuted on the platform on March 30, 2019, with a lip sync video, and within a few months, she had amassed a massive following. She even set a new record by gaining 36 million followers in just six months. The video that catapulted her to fame was Move With Joy, a duet dance routine that went viral on the platform, garnering two million views.

Her account has continued to grow, as has her popularity, since then. D’Amelio has had the opportunity to collaborate with great artists as a result of her success on the platform. She was on the Jonas Brothers’ Happiness Begins tour, performed at the Super Bowl with J-Lo, and appeared in one of Bebe Rexha’s music videos. Charli and Dixie joined The Hype House, a TikTok creative group that is currently filming their own Netflix series, in late 2019. Chase Hudson, Thomas Petrou, Nick Austin, Mia Hayward, Angel Herrera, Kouvr Annon, the Lopez brothers, Madi Monroe, Alex Warren, Jack Wright, James Wright, and Nate Wyatt make up the group. The departure of the D’Amelio sisters was announced in May 2020. Many members have left or are no longer active in the group.

New Account

Charli created a new TikTok account for her alter ego Barley D’Amelio after leaving The Hype House. Despite the lack of content, the account has over 4 million followers. Charli is also well-known on Twitter and YouTube. She works with James Charles and Noah Schnapp in many of her videos.

The influencer has also provided her voice for an animated film and is the author of the upcoming book Essentially Charli: The Ultimate Guide to Keeping It Real, which will be released in 2020. She and the rest of her family are currently under contract with the United Talent Agency. She also co-hosted a podcast with her sister.

From January to April 2020, D’Amelio dated Hype House partner Chase Hudson. Chase and Nessa Barrett split up after Chase admitted to kissing her.

Charli has spoken out on several occasions about network harassment and bullying and how it affects her emotional integrity. She also openly stated her support for the Black Lives Matter movement.
