He referred to the audience as “devil worshipers” prior to the performance.
Before the Battle of Hits, tensions were already high (Versuz). They did, however, take the stage, as many fans expected. Hip Hop fans were finally treated to a Verzuz featuring Three 6 Mafia and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony after more than a year and a half of anticipation. Bizzy Bone, on the other hand, managed to turn the celebration into a brawl when he referred to the Memphis group as “Devil worshippers.”
After their group’s name, the rap legend referred to Three 6 Mafia as “devil worshipers.” “Isn’t that the mark of the beast?” “You grew up in church, so you knew the consequences of nominating yourself to MAKE PEOPLE THINK YOU SOLD YOUR SOUL FOR RICHES AND FAME,” the rapper explained.
He challenged the Three 6 Mafia to publicly “denounce Satan” on stage, but this did not appear to be in the group’s plans. When the two groups finally met, there was a bit of small talk that made some uncomfortable, given the circumstances. However, both Bone and Three 6 got through the first few tracks without incident.
Between songs, Bizzy began to make more obnoxious taunts, which were quickly answered by Juicy J, and the two groups began exchanging punches on stage. After a brief intermission, everyone returned to the stage and resumed the show, sans Bizzy.
