Parinda
If you like watching serious movies, then Parinda is an excellent option for you. Released in 1989, the movie had Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and Nana Patekar in the lead roles. Vidhu Vinod Chopra directed the movie, and the music director was R.D Burman. This film received several Filmfare Awards. And even today, this film is remembered for its memorable acting and especially of Nana Patekar.
This story is about two brothers who love each other very much. The elder brother sends the younger brother to the US for studies, but when he comes back after studying, he comes to know that the elder brother has entered the swamp of crime.
And with the money from crime, his brother sent him to the US. Gumrah
Gumrah, released in 1993, is a crime thriller directed by Mahesh Bhatt, starring actors like Sridevi, Sanjay Dutt, Anupam Kher, Rahul Roy, Tom Altar.
Sridevi plays the character of a movie star whose name is Chandni, and Sanjay Dutt, whose character is named Jaggu, is a great fan and lover of Chandini. Although Jaggu is very much in love with Roshni, Roshni is in love with Rahul Malhotra (Rahul Roy), and the couple goes on a foreign trip. Rahul puts packets of drugs in Roshni’s bag, and due to this, Roshni is caught and sent to jail. Awara Paagal Deewana
Aawara Pagal Deewana, released in 2002, is a comedy movie directed by Vikram Bhatt that will make you roll on the floor laughing. The film’s main cast is Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Preeti Jhangiani, Aarti Chhabria, Amrita Arora, Om Puri, Rahul Dev and Asrani.
There is enmity between Guru Gulab Khatri (Akshay Kumar) and Vikrant (Rahul Dev), and Vikrant wants to remove Guru Gulab Khatri from his path. But Guru Gulab Khatri survives and he goes abroad. Vikrant announces the reward to the person giving Guru’s address.
And in this greed, Doctor Anmol’s (Aftab Shivdasani) wife (Amrita Arora) and mother-in-law send him and his father-in-law Manilal (Paresh Rawal) to India to give the address of the Guru to Vikrant and to get the prize money from him.
Vikrant sends this Yeda Anna (Sunil Shetty) to kill Guru Gulab Khatri along with Anmol and his father-in-law Manilal. And what happens next you can see in the film. One thing is certain that by watching this film, you will be laughing and rolling on the ground.
Swades
Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, released in 2004, Swadesh is a great movie that you will enjoy a lot, and at the same time, you will also have a sense of patriotism. If you have not seen this movie yet, then you should definitely watch it this weekend. The main cast of this movie is Shahrukh Khan, Gayatri Joshi, Kishori Ballal, Rajesh Vivek, Daya Pandey, Makrand Deshpande, Rahul Vohra, Vishwa Badola.
Mohan is a scientist in NASA who returns to his country after a long time to find his beloved Nanny and take her back with him to the US. Paan Singh Tomar, released in 2010, is based on a true incident in which an armyman and an athlete becomes a rebel due to the corrupt and inefficient system. This is the story of 7-time National Champion Athlete and Army Jawan, Subedar Pan Singh Tomar. Irfan Khan has played the role of Pan Singh Tomar and Tigmanshu Dhulia has given the direction of this movie.

This story is about a man who loves his wife very much. Once his wife’s health worsens, and he has to cross a mountain to get to the hospital. But when he was trying the mountain, his wife dies. In anger, after his wife’s departure, he decides that he will break that mountain. And by spending years of his life breaking the mountain, he finally breaks the mountain to make way to the village.
Dangal
Released in 2016, Dangal is based on Mahavir Phogat and his two daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat. Nitesh Tiwari directed the film, and the lead actors were Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sania Malhotra, Zaira Wasim, Sakshi Tanwar, Suhani Bhatnagar, Aparshakti Khurana, Girish Kulkarni etc.
The story begins with Mahavir Phogat’s youth when he himself was a national champion and wanted to have a son born to his house, who would make him and the nation proud by his wrestling. Rancho takes admission to the best engineering college in the city, but when he reaches there, he sees that everyone is engaged in a mugging and no one is interested in knowing the fundamentals of engineering. Raju and Farhan become his good friend and roommates. Rancho’s basic differences remain with the principal of the college, Veeru Sahastrabuddhe, but Veeru Sahastrabuddhe’s daughter falls in love with Rancho.

Chopsticks
It’s a timid and numerology-fearing Nirma that opens Chopsticks, as she takes delivery of a new red car, which might very well be a product placement given how it’s repeatedly mentioned by its full name. That very night, the car is stolen from right under her nose after she hands over the keys to a car thief posing as a parking attendant, while she visits a temple to ask for blessings for her new vehicle.
Upon being told she’s been duped, Nirma lodges a complaint at a nearby police station, where she encounters a petty thief who says he knows someone who can help, a man who goes simply by the name of Artist (Abhay Deol, from Dev.D). Naturally, Nirma is hesitant at first but she eventually relents and pays him a visit, which kick-starts Chopsticks and moves things into a higher gear.
