The 32-year-old American figure skater shared several photos commemorating his wedding day, including one in which the couple shared a loving embrace.

The athlete’s better half was dressed in a black leather jacket, a flannel button-down shirt, sunglasses, and bleached blonde hair.

After commuting back and forth from Los Angeles to Jussi-Pekka Kajaala’s home country of Finland, the couple is finally living together.

According to People, they met on Tinder in 2018. The couple got engaged earlier this year while Rippon was in Finland visiting his better half.

Earlier this year, Rippon told the press, ‘I’m excited to marry JP because he’s just the best.’ He’s sweet, funny, and just as lovely on the inside as he is on the outside (which is a lot). I’m his cheerleader, and he’s mine. ‘I just adore him.’

Getting the rings from Finland meant a lot to the couple as well. Rippon explained that he enjoyed always having a piece of the European nation with them.

‘We bought the rings together and picked them up together,’ Rippon explained. ‘I was determined that we would have rings from Finland.’ I thought it would be fun to have a little piece of Finland with us all the time, especially since JP is planning to move to Los Angeles by the end of the year.’
