The British singer accompanied the Thor director, 46, on a trip to Australia last month, and sources say she is now hoping for an engagement ring for Christmas.

‘Rita and Taika are completely in love,’ a source told The Sun on Monday.
‘According to her, he’s “the one” for her. ‘None of her friends would be surprised if he proposed soon,’ the insider added.
Besnik and Vera Sahatçiu, Rita’s parents, are said to have given Taika their approval to marry their daughter after meeting him in London.
‘Some may see it as quick, but they’ve barely spent a day apart since they met,’ the source said, describing Taika as a ‘grounding yet fun’ presence in Rita’s life.
Rita and Taika recently arrived in Australia to film the 2022 season of The Voice.
During his time in Australia, her Kiwi boyfriend is also rumoured to be working on several upcoming films, including Thor: Love and Thunder, which is currently in post-production.
Rita met the Oscar-winning screenwriter in February in Australia, where she was filming this season of The Voice.
According to a source, the couple began dating “secretly” in early March, three months before she left Australia for Los Angeles in early June.
