The Lifetime Christmas Movies continue on Saturday night with the premiere of “A Picture-Perfect Holiday,” starring Tatyana Ali and Henderson Wade. As Christmas is around the corner there are several releases lined up.
The movie story is about Tatyana Ali’s character who wants to climb the corporate ladder as a Photographer.
Fans will recognize Ali from previous Lifetime shows such as “The Good Nanny,” “Wrapped Up in Christmas,” “Jingle Belle,” “Deadly Match,” and “Christmas Hotel.” Of course, many people remember her as Ashley Banks on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”
Wade is another someone that fans may remember, as he is well-known for parts such as Sherriff Michael Minetta on “Riverdale,” but he has also acted in Lifetime films such as “Unwanted Guest” and “The Cheerleader Murders.”
Dina Meyer (“A Dogwalker’s Christmas Tale”) also appears in the film.
A synopsis for the film reads, “Fashion photographer Gaby Jones (Tatyana Ali) is eager to create a name for herself and finally gets her opportunity when she secures a coveted job at a magazine.” “After an editor (Meyer) encourages Gaby to attend the annual Christmas Photography Retreat in the little hamlet of Pine Falls to hone her abilities, Gaby grudgingly signs up despite not being a big admirer of the holidays.”
Gaby arrives in Pine Falls, however, to discover that her rental has been double-booked, and she is now stuck with wildlife photographer Sean (Wade). Of course, after a tense start, things swiftly change—and they are confronted with a much larger and unexpected problem.
“As the two fall for each other, their life choices begin to interfere, and the two must decide if they’re prepared to take a risk in order to spend a picture-perfect holiday together,” according to the synopsis.
