Twitter has introduced a new Twitter IPL Tab that is loaded with features like the latest updates and news about IPL 2022.
Every day, people visit Twitter to learn about what is going on in the country and in their field of interest. Cricket is one of the many different interests and passions that people have in this service.
In India, 75% of Twitter users have been identified as cricket fans, with 58 percent of these users playing the game. Between January 2021 and January 2022, 4.4 million Indians tweeted 96.2 million cricket-related tweets.
In light of this public interest, Twitter has begun testing a new tab called ‘Cricket Tab’ on the occasion of the IPL 2022. The Cricket tab on the Explore page will be tested as part of this service. This will be useful for some Indians who use Twitter on their Android devices.
This tab will be the only one that will function as a search engine. People will be able to find out what is new in cricket today by coming here. They will receive relevant, exclusive, and, for the first time, up-to-date information about cricket on Twitter as a result of this.
Twitter IPL Tab Features
Fans will be able to get field updates and follow the latest tweets on a dedicated page at the top of the Cricket tab.
Live Scorecards: It’s now easier to keep track of match results on Twitter. The match score will be displayed not only on the Cricket tab, but also on the Events page.
Interactive Team Widgets: Fans will also have access to content widgets such as top players and team rankings via this tab. As the game progresses on the field, it becomes more interesting. Fans will be able to see how their favorite players are performing on the field in the blink of an eye thanks to these widgets.
Top Video Content: Twitter will collaborate with broadcast and creator partners to provide fans with an immersive experience and the video content they desire. It will feature memorable moments, highlights, and off-field action from the game.
Topic Tweets: Twitter Topics generates topic-based tweets using machine learning. The IPL topic will be accessible to fans via the Cricket tab, allowing them to keep a closer eye on the discussions taking place here.
Twitter Lists: Fans will be able to subscribe to Twitter lists dedicated to their favorite teams and players. This list will allow users to follow multiple accounts that tweet about the same topic on different timelines.
Furthermore, fans will be able to receive notifications about key moments in the game, allowing them to connect with each and every interesting and talkable moment of the game, ensuring that they do not miss any important action on the field.

He will also respond to fans’ #GOATTweets to determine which cricketer is the greatest of all time. Fans will encourage their team by sending special team emojis in seven Indian languages, including Hindi and English.
