Taylor Swift delights fans with a new rendition of “Christmas Tree Farm”

Christmas is approaching, which means two things: Mariah Carey will reign supreme once more with her mythical “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” and the other artists will do everything in their power to dethrone her. Taylor Swift, the artist of the moment, is one of them.

The superstar, who is re-releasing some of her most famous songs, has done the same with ‘Christmas Tree Farm’ (Old Timey Version). A song dedicated to the spirit of Christmas that kicked off the previous holiday season and was well received.

She has re-recorded this Christmas song in the legendary London studios of Abbey Road, and it is now exclusively available to Amazon Music customers. Swift herself has stated that this new version features new musical arrangements for which she has assembled a 70-piece orchestra.

“We are very excited this Christmas to be able to offer fans this timeless new version of Christmas Tree Farm to enjoy when they get together with friends and family for the holidays,” says Amazon Music’s Ryan Redington.

The song, written in 2019, was inspired by Pennsylvania’s childhood growing up next to a Christmas tree plantation. In fact, we can see a young Taylor Swift celebrating the holidays with her family in the official video clip.

On this occasion, the artist has been accompanied by an orchestra of 70 musicians at Abbey Road Studios, and the song includes wind instruments, strings, and bells that recall the classic Christmas songs of the great bands who came before her.

“I grew up on a Christmas tree farm.” Deep in the delicious forest of jelly beans, in a gingerbread house. “Where, curiously, this song is her national anthem,” Taylor wrote on social media moments before announcing the release.
