Resident Evil Actress Milla Jovovich Expresses Pain For Ukraine in the ongoing Russia Ukraine war.
Milica Bogdanovna Jovovich, better known as Milla Jovovich, is a 46-year-old Ukrainian-American actress, supermodel, and singer. Her prominent appearances in various science-fiction and action films earned her the title of “reigning queen of kick-butt” in 2006, according to the music channel VH1. In 2004, Forbes named her the highest-paid model in the world.
Jovovich was born in Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union, and moved to London with her parents when she was five years old, then to Sacramento, California, before settling in Los Angeles seven months later.

She wrote on her Instagram post about Russia Ukraine war ‘I am heartbroken and dumbstruck trying to process the events of this week in my birthplace of Ukraine. My country and people being bombed. Friends and family in hiding. My blood and my roots come from both Russia and Ukraine. I am torn in two as I watch the horror unfolding, the country being destroyed, families being displaced, their whole life lying in charred fragments around them. I remember the war in my father’s homeland of former Yugoslavia and the stories my family tells of the trauma and terror they experienced. War. Always war. Leaders who cannot bring peace. The never ending juggernaut of imperialism. And always, the people pay in bloodshed and tears.’
