In an interview with the Bombay Times, Nitish Bhardwaj stated, “Yes, in September 2019, I filed for divorce in family court. I don’t want to get into the details of why we split up. At the moment, the case is in court. All I can say is that divorce is more powerful than death, especially when living with an emptiness.”

On the marriage relationship, Nitish Bharadwaj stated, “I have faith in this institution, but I have not been fortunate in this matter. To be honest, there can be a variety of reasons for a marriage’s dissolution. You don’t always put up with your partner’s attitude. If you are able to do this, there is sometimes a lack of compression. Sometimes your ego gets in the way, and your thinking doesn’t match. Children travel in it whenever a relationship fails. These things have a negative impact on children and are to blame for them. It’s the parents’ fault.”

Have you ever had a conversation with your twin daughters? In response to this question, Nitish Bharadwaj stated, “I would not like to say anything about whether or not I have the freedom to talk or meet with him right now.” When an attempt was made to contact Smita about the breakup of the relationship, she did not respond.
