Lady Gaga has announced the release of “Hold My Hand
Through a relevant social media post, Lady Gaga confirmed the creation of a track for Top Gun: Maverick named “Hold My Hand.”
Gaga told the audience that she had been working on the song for years, and she talked about the process of making it and how much the end product means to her.
“When I composed this track for Top Gun: Maverick, I had no idea how deeply it was embedded in the film, my psyche, and the nature of the world we live in,” the singer wrote.
“I’ve been working on it for years, trying to perfect it and make it ours. I wanted to write music for a song in which we share our deep need to be understood, but also to understand each other – a yearning for togetherness when we feel so far apart, but also the opportunity to appreciate the heroes in our lives “She went on to say
The song, according to Gaga, is a love message to our world after a very trying era, and it will be published on May 3.
“Hold My Hand” is set to be released in production by Gaga, BloodPop®, and Benjamin Rice, while the film in which it appears has production and music soundtrack by Harold Faltermeyer and Hans Zimmer.
