Lacey Evans recently returned to SmackDown, but she didn’t get a proper debut. She then renamed it RAW and gave it a badass personality. WWE appears to be at a loss as to what to do with her.
Evans was supposed to appear on RAW this week, but she did not appear. They aired a commercial featuring her at a race and then trolled fans who reported her absence online.
Lacey Evans, according to PW insiders, will return to SmackDown. This change was made within the last 48 hours, and it appears that she will now appear on Friday nights.
Lacey Evans has returned to the Smackdown roster in the last 48 hours, according to PWInsider.com.
Evans was supposed to return to the ring on Monday’s episode of Raw, but she did not appear. She had originally returned to Smackdown with a series of vignettes promoting her return, but she was moved to Raw last month.
We can only hope WWE decides what to do with Lacey Evans. She has a lot of potential and could gain a lot of support from her fans. She can also generate a lot of heat, but they need to figure something out before her constant change of direction turns her into a meme instead of a Superstar worthy of respect.

Macey Estrella-Kadlec (born March 24, 1990) is a former Marine and professional wrestler from the United States. She is currently employed by WWE, where she competes on the Raw brand as Lacey Evans.
Estrella served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Marine Corps Special Reaction Team, which is a civilian SWAT team. While on active duty, I entered at the age of 19, served for five years, earned a bachelor’s degree, and started a construction business.
While in the Marine Corps, Estrella-Kadlec was introduced to wrestling by a sergeant who promoted independent shows on the side, first being invited to one show and then being scheduled to wrestle in the main event of the second show all that she attended.
Estrella received her training from Tom Caiazzo at the American Premier Wrestling Training Center in Statesboro, Georgia. She made her debut for the promotion in 2014, winning the World Heavyweight Championship.
Estrella signed a contract with WWE on April 12, 2016. She made her company debut on October 20 at a house show, where she competed in a Battle Royal, which Ember Moon eventually won. Evans made her first NXT appearance three months later, teaming up with Sarah Bridges in a tag team match, which they lost to the team of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. Estrella was given the stage name Lacey Evans in 2017, in honour of her sister’s full maiden name, Lacey. Evans’ primary role was that of a jobber for various female competitors.
Evans competed in the first Mae Young Classic tournament in July, defeating Taynara Conti in the first round but losing to Toni Storm in the second.
Evans established himself as a heel on the January 17, 2018 episode of NXT when he complained to NXT General Manager William Regal about allowing “the lowest forms of social trash” such as Nikki Cross, Ember Moon, and Kairi Sane to compete in the women’s division. Evans and Sane first feuded in April, trading victories and attacking each other for the next few weeks.
Evans eventually lost to Sane on the June 6 episode of NXT, bringing their feud to an end. Evans went on a winning streak the rest of the year, defeating Dakota Kai and Candice LeRae. Evans competed in a Fatal 4-Way match in December to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship, but the match was won by Bianca Belair.
Lacey Evans was announced as one of six NXT wrestlers set to be traded to the main roster on the December 17, 2018 episode of Raw. Evans was defeated by Natalya in a dark match on January 7, 2019, at the Main Event tapings and made her official main roster debut at the Royal Rumble, entering the Women’s Royal Rumble match as No. 1 and eliminating The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) before being eliminated by Charlotte Flair. Evans then appeared on Raw, SmackDown, and pay-per-view events several times to interrupt various segments and matches by walking out on stage, waving to the crowd, and leaving.
Lacey Evans launched her first main roster feud shortly after WrestleMania 35, when she repeatedly attacked Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. During the WWE Superstar Shake-up, Evans joined the Raw brand’s roster and defeated Natalya to earn a title shot at Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship.
Evans’ title defense was scheduled for Money in the Bank, where she was defeated by Lynch via submission, denying her the title. Just minutes later, Evans assisted Charlotte Flair in winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Lynch by hitting her with her Woman’s Right, allowing Charlotte to take advantage of the attack and win, though Charlotte lost the title minutes later to Bayley, who cashed out her Money in the Bank contract.
Despite her defeat, Lacey Evans maintained her feud with Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship. Evans lost to Lynch again at Stomping Grounds, and at the event Because Rollins was dating Lynch, Baron Corbin was chosen as the special referee in his WWE Universal Championship match against Seth Rollins.
However, Corbin was defeated due to Lynch’s interference, who attacked Evans. The following night on Raw, Evans and Corbin challenged Lynch and Rollins to a Last Chance Match for their respective titles. Mixed tag team Extreme match, winner takes all. They lost a rules match at Extreme Rules after Rollins pinned Corbin, effectively ending his feud with Lynch.
