Khalia Hall, who wore the sash Miss General Food Supermarket, defeated 14 other finalists at the pageant’s grand coronation at New Kingston’s Courtleigh Auditorium.
Miss World 1976 Cindy Breakspeare crowned the new queen, who also won the Fast Track Top Model competition, in the absence of former Miss Jamaica and World Toni-Ann Singh.
Born in 1996 Khalia Hall is now 25 years old and she is also a food blogger who also loves to cook. She is into food-related business as she feels Jamaica lacks healthy eating habits.
Khalia Hall is from St Ann’s Parish but attends Campion College High School in Kingston. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica, to a Jamaican mother and a British father. She is fluent in both English and Italian.
Hall earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.

She was named a global ambassador for the University of Manchester in July 2016. She represented the university and promoted international opportunities to students both in the UK and abroad.
She has also worked as an engineer for companies such as Hewlett Packard and KONE in Italy and Singapore.

Khalia Hall is a mechanical engineer-turned-foodie who is passionate about health and nutrition. After discovering that 74% of Jamaicans do not consume the recommended daily portions of fruits and vegetables, she launched her plant-based Shibumi Jamaican food delivery service in Jamaica in 2020.
