She was photographed wearing a neck brace and surrounded by medical equipment, and she told her Instagram followers that she was ‘extremely lucky not to be a quadriplegic.’

Alli stated that she was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and evaluated by a neurosurgeon, who determined that she did not require immediate surgery.

‘I’ve been sent home in a hard neck brace that I’ll be living in 24/7 for the next four months as my neck hopefully heals itself,’ she continued.

‘I am extremely fortunate to be alive and/or not quadriplegic because it just missed my spinal cord… in my opinion, four months is a drop in the ocean compared to the rest of my happy and healthy life.’

She went on to express her gratitude to her family and friends for ‘FaceTiming me, cooking me meals, and sending kind gifts… it means more than you know.’

‘Happy New Year everyone! Sending love and light… hoping your year has started off much better than mine!’ ‘This year, stay safe and don’t dive into anything you don’t know the depth of!’ she concluded.

Alli and her boyfriend Mitchell Lambert revealed their renovation plans after purchasing a Gold Coast apartment last year.

Mitchell told the Gold Coast Bulletin that the couple was thrilled to be working on the project.

‘It’s a natural coincidence that it happened.’ It’s a truly unique property, and it’s a big step for us,’ he said.
