Jawbreaker will begin their 25th-anniversary tour in support of their seminal album Dear You on March 18.
“The last two years don’t count,” says the jawbreaker. The Live Nation-produced dates begin on the west coast with a stop at Seattle’s Showbox SoDo and include multiple nightstands at The Fillmore in San Francisco, Chicago’s House Of Blues, and Irving Plaza in New York City, among other cities. Jawbreaker has invited Built to Spill, Descendents, Jawbox, Face to Face, Best Coast, Team Dresch, and the Linda Linda’s to support them on select shows along the way.
All of the dates listed below will go on sale on Friday, January 21 at 10 a.m. local time. Citi is the official credit card of the Dear You 25th Anniversary Tour. Citi cardholders will have access to presale tickets through the Citi Entertainment program beginning Wednesday, January 19 at 10 a.m. ET and ending Thursday, January 20 at 10 p.m. local time.

Jawbreaker, which formed on the campus of New York University more than 35 years ago, is still one of the most beloved and influential bands of the post-punk era. With indie classics like 1990’s Unfun, 1992’s Bivouac (which led to tour dates with Nirvana), and 1994’s 24 Hour Revenge Therapy, vocalist/guitarist Blake Schwarzenbach, bassist Chris Bauermeister, and drummer Adam Pfahler carved out a unique niche in the emo and alternative scenes.
Dear You is ranked No. 4 on Rolling Stone’s list of the “Top 40 Greatest Emo Albums of All Time,” and “their fingerprints are all over much of the rock that took over mainstream radio in the mid-2000s.”
