Moon Moon Sen (born 28 March 1954) is an Indian film actress best known for her roles in Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, and Kannada films.
Moon Moon Sen has appeared in 60 films and 40 television series and known for her beauty and boldness. Moon Moon was considered as a powerhouse of glamour.
Moon Moon Sen was born in Calcutta (modern-day Kolkata) into a Hindu family to popular Bengali actress Suchitra Sen and Dibanath Sen.
She received her education at Loreto Convent in Shillong and Loreto House in Calcutta. She earned her bachelor's degree from Somerville College in Oxford.
She also appeared in the suspense thriller 100 Days alongside Madhuri Dixit. She did not appear in another film after Zakhmi Dil (1994) until 2003.
She was unable to match her mother's success. She'd appeared in the Telugu film Sirivennela, directed by the legendary Telugu filmmaker K.Vishwanath.
Moon Moon Sen never shied away from boldness and even her in 50s gave bold scenes in Bow Barracks For Ever that was released in the year 2004.
She joined Trinamool Congress (TMC) in March 2014 and won in 2014 Lok Sabha Polls from Bankura constituency.
