WWE- NXT

It was revealed on January 20, 2021, that Cora Jade inked a contract with WWE and will wrestle on the NXT brand.

Cora Jade Biography

She made her 205 Live debut on the January 22 program as Cora Jade, where she was paired with Gigi Dolin in the first round of the 2021 Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Still, they were eliminated by Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell.

Jade was defeated by Xia Li on the February 10 episode of NXT. Three months later, she returned to television on the May 25 program, where she lost to Franky Monet.

Several months later, on the October 5 broadcast of NXT, Cora Jade defeated Monet in a rematch. On November 16, she joined Raquel González’s NXT WarGames team. She led her team to victory in that tournament’s women’s WarGames competition. Two weeks later, at New Year’s Evil, she was given a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship in a triple threat match against González and champion Mandy Rose.

On the December 28 episode of NXT, she and González successfully defended their title against Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray by pinning Ray.

CoraJade lost the title at New Year’s Evil after Rose pinned her.

Soon after, she paired with Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s Dusty Cup, where they defeated Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz in the first round before falling to Wendy Choo and Dakota Kai in the semi-finals due to interference by Toxic Attraction. Jade’s feud with Rose would resume when she lost a fatal-four match for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver.

Cora Jade then clashed with Natalya, who praised Jade but predicted a dismal future for her. Jade and Nikkita Lyons defeated Natalya and Lash Legend at Spring Breakin’ on May 3, but Jade lost to Natalya a week later by passing out in the Sharpshooter. She and Natalya shook hands after the match, earning the latter’s respect. She began working with Roxanne Perez in June after the latter won the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. They would have a feud with Toxic Attraction, whom Jade, Perez, and Indi Hartwell beat on the June 14 episode of NXT.

Perez and Cora Jade defeated Katana Chance and Kayden Carter two weeks later to become the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship’s top contenders at NXT: The Great American Bash on July 5. Jade and Perez beat Dolin and Jayne to become the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions at the NXT Great American Bash.
