The BAFTA Awards 2022, or the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards, were held in person at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday, March 13th, for the first time since the COVID pandemic.
Celebrities such as Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston attended the glittering awards ceremony. Lady Gaga, Emma Watson, Naomi Campbell, and others appear. Dunne has received the most nominations this year, followed by Benedict Cumberbatch’s The Power of the Dog.
The Power of the Dog, directed by Jane Campion, was named Best Film and Best Director. Will Smith was named Best Actor for his performance in King Richard, while Joanna Scanlan was named Best Actress for her performance in After Love.
Meanwhile, Dunne received five awards at the ceremony. Aside from that, No Time to Die received the award for Best Editing.
Will Smith and King Richard have won the award for Best Actor Male. After Love’s Joanna Scanlan received the Best Actress Award.
