Miley Cyrus walked into rehearsal for her NBC New Year’s Eve special in a stunning black romper on Thursday.
Miley Cyrus is getting ready to ring in the new year! The “Midnight Sky” singer was photographed wearing a sexy black romper as she walked into rehearsal for her upcoming NBC show Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party on Thursday, Dec. 30.
The 29-year-old, who is co-hosting the special with 28-year-old comedian Pete Davidson, was spotted in Miami, Florida ahead of the event wearing a romper with cutouts on the top and waist, as well as short shorts that showed off her killer gams. Miley wore her light blonde hair in a high ponytail and wore orange-tinted, ’70s-style sunglasses, as well as coconut water to stay hydrated for the event.
Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, Brandi Carlile, Jack Harlow, Saweetie, and others will perform during the two-hour show, which will be produced by SNL showrunner Lorne Michaels. When the show was announced, Jen Neal, Executive Vice President, Live Events, Specials, and E! News, NBCUniversal, said, “In what is sure to be an exciting and fun evening, we are looking forward to partnering with Lorne Michaels and ringing in 2022 with a night of incredible entertainment, led by Miley and Pete.”
On a recent episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Miley commented on the upcoming special, saying, “I wanted to do something traditional, but I knew we would do it in a unique and unconventional way, and we did that by starting with going to Miami.” “[Pete] will be funny, and I’ll be naked, and we’ll put on a show together.”
Miley and Pete have been doing various promotional shoots and appearances leading up to the exciting event, including both joining Jimmy Fallon on Dec. 10 as Miley hilariously serenaded Pete with a cover of Yvonne Fair’s “It Should Have Been Me.” The pop star elaborated on his new romance with Kim Kardashian, 41, joking that it “should have been” her in the various photos of Pete and Kim cuddling up. “I said, it should have been me — ohhhhh, it should have been me,” she crooned before adding, “Pete Davidson, how you going to do this to me?”
