Galilea Montijo, the host of the Hoy program, has had one of the most solid and stable careers on television. Because of her charisma and fashion sense, she has even been dubbed “Mexico’s most beloved.”
And now she’s delighted in the Televisa studios by wearing a blue skirt that accentuates her figure. The Mexican driver shared her day’s outfit on social media, particularly on her official Instagram account.
Her outfit drew over 12,000 ‘Likes’ and approximately 2 ‘Comments.’ Unquestionably, this is an image that has delighted everyone who follows Galilea Montijo.

Galilea Montijo Life
On June 5, 1973, Martha Galilea Montijo Torres was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She was very young when she developed a strong interest in dances and everything related to interpretation. She begins her career as a dancer in her hometown, but she soon realizes that what she really wants is to be a television host.
That is why, in 1991, the year she launched the children’s game show TVO, Galilea had a minor role alongside conductors Gaby Ruffo and Liza Echevarra. It would be the true beginning of her dream two years later, when she won the La Chica Tv beauty pageant.
But she was obstinate in getting to the conduction, and she would have the opportunity in the Latin cable channel Ritmoson from 1994 to 1998, later going to the program Fantástico amor alongside Guatemalan Héctor Sandarti. The years and experience she gained from her previous jobs made it easier for her to become a host, in the famous Hoy magazine program, which was successful in Mexico, where she was alongside Angélica Vale and Alfredo Adame.
Later, from 2001 to 2005, she hosted another well-known space, the Vida TV program, which she shared with Hector Sandarti and, this time, Evelio Arias Ramos. She stayed until the aforementioned program changed format and became Vida TV the show.
She then competed in Big Brother, winning and making it to the finals alongside Facundo and Arath de la Torre.
Three years later, in 2005, she returns to reality shows, this time in Dancing for a Dream with Miguel ngel as a partner, but Galilea suffers a painful accident and is forced to use a wheelchair on the dance floor. With this presentation, and despite their precarious situation, they remain nominated, contributing to the realization of the dream for which they were competing.
Later, she reprises her role as a host alongside Arath de la Torre in La hora de la papa, and she later appears in Looking for Timbiriche, the new band.
Montijo feels encouraged to participate in Make me laugh and you’ll be a millionaire as part of the team of Roxana Castellanos and Juan Frese, having had fame and luck in previous contests. She is currently in third place following elimination and before reaching the final.
Despite her refusal to make her romance public, Galilea married Guerrero businessman, politician, and athlete Fernando Reina Iglesias in the port of Acapulco on August 6, 2011.
On March 23, the following year, she gives birth to her first child, Mateo Reina Montijo, who is christened.
From 2011 to the present, the lovely Galilea has been hosting a new Televisa network project called Pequeos Gigantes, after dedicating herself to hosting the morning show Hoy before accepting this new position.
