On social media, Farhan Akhtar expressed his joy at the man’s arrest. At the same time, he stated that he hopes that strict action be taken against such threats received by female journalists. ‘I am very happy to hear that the cyber cell of Mumbai Police has traced and arrested the lousy person who threatened a girl child with rape,’ Farhan Akhtar wrote on social media.
A request for female journalists was also made.

The Delhi Commission for Women had requested an investigation
The man allegedly targeted Virat Kohli’s 10-month-old daughter and actress Anushka Sharma, who lives in Mumbai. The Delhi Commission for Women demanded an investigation and served a notice on the Delhi Police, requesting a detailed action taken report. The suspect has been identified as Ramnagesh Srinivas Akubathini by police (23). After losing to Pakistan, he threatened Kohli’s daughter with rape on social media. The police are transporting him to Mumbai.
