Team For WTC final and England test series announced

The Indian team, led by Virat Kohli, has been announced for the final of the World Test Championship (WTC Final) against New Zealand and the test series against England. Rabindra Jadeja has returned to the Indian Test team, while Hardik Pandey has been left out.

Jadeja was ruled out mid of the Australia tour due to a finger injury. He was also ruled out of the domestic series against England. So now that he is fit and has done well in the IPL, he has been included in the team. Similarly, Hanuma Vihari has returned to the team. Hanuma Vihari was injured while playing the third Test in Australia, due to which he missed the fourth Test in Australia and the home series against England.

On the other hand, Hardik Pandya has not been included in the Indian Test team Playing eleven since 2018. Hardik Pandya was in the squad for the Test series against England, but he was not fit bowl, due to which he was not included in the playing XI. Till the time Hardik Pandya is not fit for regular bowling, he will remain out of the Test team, but he will play as a batsman in the short format. An English paper has quoted this from an official of BCCI.

KL Rahul and Wriddhiman Saha have been selected for the team, but their final decision will be taken only after their fitness test. But, first, let us tell you that KL Rahul has recently undergone surgery, due to which he missed IPL matches.

Like we did Predict in the morning Prithvi Shaw has not got a place in this team, although Prithvi Shaw had a great performance in home matches last year. Prithvi Shaw also performed brilliantly in the IPL match played this year and he was the third-highest run-scorer of this IPL.

According to a story in the Times of India, the BCCI has advised the batsman that he needs to shed a few kilos’ if he wants to return to the national team.

“For a 21-year-old, Prithvi is always very sluggish around the turf. He also has to lose a few pounds. He also struggled with focus when fielding in Australia. On his return from Australia, Shaw has been putting in long hours. He has Rishabh Pant as an example right in front of him. If Pant can turn things around in a few months, Prithvi can as well, according to a BCCI source.

Rohit Sharma, Shubham Gill and Mayank Agrawal will officiate the team’s batting opening. Similarly, Ishant Sharma, Jashprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shammi, Mohammad Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav will be the team’s pace bowlers. R. Ashwin and Axar Patel will be in charge of the spin attack.

The final of the World Test Championship between India and New Zealand will be played on June 16. India will then play a five-Test series against England.
