Similipal Forest Fire, Randeep Hooda requests Naveen Pattnaik, and PM to resolve the issue

Odiha News: Similipal Forest Fire is in news for the past few days and most local media from Odisha state are covering the Similipal forest fire. National media has not given much preference to Simplipal and the threat it is facing.

Simplipal forest is one of the most famous forests in Odisha and also it is a tiger reserve. For many days there is a garland of fire that’s burning and causing its inhabitants serious damage. Earthen inhabitants like snakes, lizards, snails, and others have been reduced to ashes. Bird nests have been destroyed, and many have left the forest.

Due to many reasons, the forests across India catch fire. Maximum times it is caused by humans who try to catch inhabitants by lighting a small part of the forest so that the animals in escaping the fire fall in the trap of these people. Sometimes to collect the beedi leaves, the collectors start the fire. These fires are uncontrolled, and sometimes it slips out of the hand of the initiator.

The Similipal forest fire has been burning for many days, and many citizens are appealing government to control the fire. Now Bollywood famous actor Randeep Hooda has tweeted about the Similipal forest fire and asked Odisha CM, Prakash Javadekar, and PM of India to resolve the issue. He wrote, “Heartbroken over the massive fires in #SimlipalTigerReserve#Odisha .. hoping and praying it’s brought under control asap.. @[email protected]@[email protected]_india pls take immediate action and also investigate the source and its intent”.

Others who showed their concern for Similipal Forest Fire

Union Minister Pratap Sarangi has reacted to the fire at the Shimlipal Sanctuary. “Shimlipal is on fire and this is not a good sign for the whole of Asia,” he tweeted. Sadly, it has not been able to attract the attention of the national and international media.

He urged Union Minister for Environment, Forests, and Information Broadcasting Prakash Jabdekar to bring the issue to the media’s attention. He also urged Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to intervene.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan retweeted a tweet from Mayurbhanj Princess Akshita Manjari Bhanjdeo alleging that the fire situation in Shimlipal was dire, citing Union Minister for Forests and Environment Prakash Javadekar and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Union Forest and Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar have ordered action after learning of the incident. “I urge the authorities to take immediate action and inform me,” he tweeted.
