Khela Hobe: Mamata and Modi challenge each other in different rallies

Kolkata: The process of promoting the party candidates for Election has started in five states, this time Bengal, Assam, TamilNadu, Puducherry, and Kerala are going to have elections. But everyone keeping a sharp eye on West Bengal because Mamta Banerjee has been winning elections there for the last 10 years and before that in the Communist Party way for 25 years, BJP was never considered such a big party in Bengal, but recently in a small election, BJP Has performed very well, due to which the morale of BJP is high. BJP wants to include West Bengal into the states it has a government. Elections in West Bengal will start from March 27th and will be conducted in 8 phases.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a rally on Sunday at Brigade Ground in Kolkata, where many BJP stalwarts from state and center were present. Hindi superstar Mithun Chakraborty also got inducted in BJP and mostly to contest in the coming election.

In the rally PM took a jibe at CM Mamata Banerjee by quoting her e-scooty ride recently to oppose the fuel price hike. PM said “Some days back, when you (Mamata Banerjee) rode a scooty, everyone was praying that you are not hurt. It is good that you didn’t fall, otherwise, you would have made enemy the state where the scooty was manufactured. Your (Mamata Banerjee’s) scooty took a turn towards Nandigram instead of going to Bhawanipore. Didi, I wish everyone well and don’t want anyone hurt. But what can I do if the scooty is destined to fall in Nandigram?”

Similarly addressing a rally in Siliguri, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said “‘Khela hobe’! We are ready to play. I am ready to play one-on-one… If they (BJP) want to buy votes, take the money and cast your vote for TMC.”

Also there was a symbolic cooking gas cylinder on the stage as a mark of protest against the recent gas cylinder price rise.
