Abhilasha Patil, an actress who appeared in films such as Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘Chhichhore,’ has died. She was fighting the coronavirus at the time. On Wednesday night, she passed away. Her husband and son are her only survivors. Sanjay Kulkarni, who co-starred with Abhilasha in Zee Yuva’s Marathi serial ‘Baap Manus,’ announced her death.
As soon as she returned to Mumbai from Banaras, she was found to be Covid positive.
According to Kulkarni, who spoke to a news website, “Jyoti Patil, who worked with us in ‘Bap Manus,’ called me about 6 o’clock in the evening. Abhilasha’s situation, she said, is serious. She’s in Banaras, according to what I’ve read. She got a fever in Varanasi and flew back to Mumbai, where her Covid test came as positive.”
Kulkarni went on to say, “I made an attempt to contact Abhilasha. However, both of her phone numbers were disconnected. Then, about 8:30 p.m., Anand Prabhu, who played our son in the film ‘Bap Manus,’ told us of her death. This was so shocking because she had so much to do in his life at the time. She had a lot of ambitions for her life and future.”

Apart from that, she has appeared in Hindi films such as ‘Good News,’ starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor, and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania,’ starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. ‘Tujha Manjha Orange Marriage,’ ‘Byco Deta Ka Byco,’ and ‘Pepsi’ were among her Marathi films.
